Going from civil engineering to financial planning doesn't seem like a typical progression, but in retrospect, it makes perfect sense. When Bill Jameson and his son, Jared, founded WJ Interests, they not only brought with them years of disciplined project management and client service experience, they brought a unique discipline.

Prior to forming WJ Interests in 1996, Bill was an owner and served as the President of Lichliter/Jameson, now known as LJA Engineering, while Jared worked as a Professional Engineer at Ch2m Hill among other firms. Together with the WJ Interests team, they have applied the same research-driven and technology- intensive approach in civil engineering to understanding investment markets and money managers.
